About Me

Hey, I’m Simon, a software developer and software architect with hands-on experience since 2008.

I design and build scalable backend systems and digital platforms, with a strong focus on clean code, clean architecture, and pragmatic solutions that work in real projects. Over the years, I have worked across full product lifecycles, from concept and architecture to implementation, testing, and operations.

My main stack includes Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript, and I regularly work with technologies such as Spring, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.

I hold a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Informatics and I am an iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA-F).

Professionally, I have moved from software engineering roles into senior engineering and architecture responsibilities, helping teams build reliable software in domains like public sector platforms, pricing engines, and data-driven services.

I enjoy turning complex requirements into maintainable systems, mentoring developers, and continuously exploring new technologies.

Outside of coding, I am a husband, father of two, and a big fan of good coffee.

Short Vita
